Emotional connections are formed by the smallest of actions, and for expats in Belgium this means finding a community to call their own. The Expat Insider 2015 report highlights what makes an area most welcoming - or not so much as it turns out that there is no easy way around saying nice things about certain places but some areas do have their very unique charm which people love, and one such expat who has lived in Belgium for nearly five years now says "It's a bit of both: I've been here long enough to know what makes this place home - yet it still feels like temporary accommodation so much at all times."
